They were also trying to aid the efforts by governments, agencies, organizations, and communities to build shelters, deep bunkers, and isolated strongholds, to try to ride out the storm here on Earth. With just two years left, they were so busy, she sometimes didn't go back to her apartment, sleeping on the couch in the office. Dianne would have to make do. Still, in the back of her head, Kirstie wondered if it was the right choice, knowing that in these last years before disaster struck, she would not get to see much, or speak much, to her daughter and grandson. But that was something she would have to live with.🏁
